The City of Richmond is proud to support urban agriculture through its Richmond Grows Gardens Program by making city-owned property available for community gardens.

With 24 gardens across the city of Richmond (and more in the works!) it’s easier than ever to find your garden home. The gardens under Richmond Grows Gardens host regular workdays, events, and may offer private or communal garden plots. Looking for ways to find a garden, your neighbors, or a way to engage? Find garden work days in the calendar below. Gardens share their workdays on our centralized calendar, but all work days are independently organized and operated by each garden steward and their community.
